New Delhi: Dignitaries offered their condolences over the death of Queen Elizabeth. Draupadi Murmu, the honourable President of India said that her death is a great loss to the entire world.
“In the demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of UK, the world has lost a great personality. An era has passed since she steered her country and people for over 7 decades. I share the grief of people of UK and convey my heartfelt condolences to the family”, says Draupadi Murmu on Twitter.
PM Narendra Modi has also paid condolences. He said that Queen Elizabeth had the power to guide the nation with all encouragement and glory. He also recalled his meeting with Queen Elizabeth.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi opined that the Queen had offered the best rule and he also conveyed deep condolences to her family members.
The second Elizabethan era has ended, said Tamil Nadu CM, MK Stalin. He tweeted that the Queen has died in a period that has been facing many turning points.
