Malappuram: Four people including couples got captured for smuggling MDMA.
Excise seized 75 grams of MDMA and arrested Assamuddin and his wife Shifna, natives of Manjeri Karakunn, Muhammad Sadat, native of Kavanur, and Kamaruddin, native of Vazhikadav.
The gang brought the MDMA from Bangalore and tried to transport it to Kerala via Goodalloor Nadukani pass.
They were captured by the Excise during a vehicle check at the Vazhikkadav check post.
