Reason for road collapse in Kerala is the lack of drainage systems, says Minister K N Balagopal
Thiruvananthapuram: The Finance Minister responded to the condition of roads in Kerala. The minister claimed that all roads in Kerala will be brought up to BM and BC standards within four years. If the price is high then the quality will increase and people are realizing the quality of the roads, he added.
Even small things are becoming big news due the awareness of the people. K N Balagopal said that the department encourages such news. He added that technologies should be used to extend the life of the roads. The economic status of Kerala itself will grow through the rubberized roads. The minister also stated that the main reason for road collapse in Kerala is due to the lack of drainage systems.
