Thiruvananthapuram: Animal protection department to start preventive measures in case of stray dog menace in the state. Before this, the department will meet today. The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Minister Chinchu Rani and the defense activities will be evaluated.
Vaccine procurement, staff deployment and related facilities will be discussed in the meeting. Effective control of stray dogs will also be discussed in the meeting. Rabies prevention and stray dog control are to be implemented jointly by local and animal protection departments.
At the same time, the Wayanad District Planning Committee will hold a meeting in the case of stray dogs menace in the district. Today’s meeting will discuss the restart of the ABC project. A meeting is being held under the leadership of Malappuram District Collector to prevent stray dog attacks.
