Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Vigilance commissioner has accepted the complaint against Sreeram Venkitaraman, the accused in the case of killing a journalist in a car accident. The complaint was filed by Salim Madavoor, the LJD state General Secretary. The major demand mentioned in the complaint is to terminate Sreeram from the Civil Services.
Recently, Muslim associations came forward against Sreeram when he took charge as the collector of Alappuzha district and the Kerala Government had soon appointed him into another post. The government’s action was subjected to several criticisms too.
In the complaint, filed by Salim Madavoor, it is said that Sreeram had manipulated the evidence and manipulated his position and power and demanded his termination from the civil service.
