Governor again against Pinarayi Vijayan; CM should stop the shadow war, says Governor

Kochi: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan responded to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s criticism. The governor’s reply is on the university’s illegal appointment controversy. He asked the Chief Minister to stop the shadow war.
There was a murder attempt against him in Kannur University three years ago. No case has been registered in the incident. He asked who was in charge of the Home Department. The governor also stated that the evidence of the conspiracy behind this will be released. The chief minister had assured that there will be no political interference in the university administration. The letter given by the chief minister in this regard will be released tomorrow or the next day, the Governor said.
The Governor alleged that many letters and phone calls sent to the Chief Minister were not even answered. He added that the appointment of VC by the government will not be allowed.
Last day, the Chief Minister came out with severe criticism against the Governor. Everything the governor says is rubbish, said CM. The Chief Minister had said in a press conference yesterday that those who made mistakes should suffer. Pinarayi’s criticism is regarding the CPM’s political decision to reply to the Governor.
