Kochi: A five-year-old girl was bitten by a stray dog in Kumbalam. The dog attacked Athmika, the daughter of Sujith and Amrita. The injured child was admitted to Ernakulam General Hospital. The girl who was playing near the house was attacked by the dog. Her grandmother rescued her.
Yesterday in Alappuzha too, a student of Edathua St. Aloysius School was bitten by a stray dog on his way to school. The child was taken to Edathua Family Health Center and Talavadi Primary Health Center but no vaccine was available. He was then shifted to Thiruvalla Taluk Hospital.
