New Delhi: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will reach Egypt tomorrow. It is indicated that both nations will sign significant agreements related to the defence sector. Important discussions will also be held between Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the president of Egypt and Rajnath Singh, informed the ministry of defence.
“Tomorrow, 18th September, I would be in Cairo, on a 3 day visit to Egypt. Looking forward to holding discussions with my counterpart, General Mohamed Ahmed Zaki to further strengthen defence cooperation between both the countries”, Tweeted Rajnath Singh.
Both India and Egypt have gone a long way in the joint training of the army forces. Through Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the Tejas fighter jet has become a best alternative that raised the significance of India among the world nations.
Egypt is a country in which India has a huge investment. It has an investment of 3.15 billion dollars so far. Various Indian companies have established strong involvement in Egypt’s financial and commercial sector.
