Kottayam: The attacks of stray dogs are rising in the state. Four people including a housewife got bitten on Saturday alone. Sunila was bitten while standing in the courtyard of her house. The woman tried to escape but the dog came after her and attacked. CCTV footage of the incident has already come out.
Febin, Subi and Raju from the nearby localities were also bitten by the dog. Febin was attacked while sleeping at home. All of them are undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College.
The attacks are accelerating in the district day-by-day. It is severe in places like Kadappattoor, Riverview road, Town Hall area, Murikkumpuzha, Mevada, Ramapuram, Idamattam, Kidangoor, Valavoor, Bharananganam, Mutholi, Palayam, Kollappally and Chethimattam regions of the district.
