Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces destroyed terrorists’ hideouts. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the hideout in the forest area of Ramban district. The hideout was found during a joint search by the army and the police.
An under-barrel grenade launcher, a Chinese pistol, 36 rounds of ammunition, four AK-47 rifle magazines with 198 bullets, 69 nine mm pistol rounds, binoculars, a camera and a wireless set were seized.
Earlier, a hideout of terrorists was destroyed in a similar manner in Sayidabad forest area of Tral in Kashmir. Army recovered documents and weapons related to banned organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed. Tral police registered a case under various departments and started an investigation.
