Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Arif Muhammad Khan released evidence in the attempt of murder against him at the Kannur History Congress. He released a video shot by the PRD and the media. He reiterated that the murder attempt was a conspiracy.
He also released evidence against the Chief Minister’s private secretary and former MP K K Ragesh. The protestors, including from Delhi, arrived in a planned manner.
The attack took place in a public square eventhough there were hundreds of policemen. He cited IPC 124 and pointed out the murder attempt in the History Congress. He said that it was a crime punishable by up to 7 years in prison.
The governor said that what happened in the historic Congress was an incident that should be booked and should be punished under the IPC. Irfan violated the time limit. He lectured for 35 minutes. He alleged that he had to wait for an hour and a half for the 45-minute program, but only three minutes were allowed for him to speak.
