Thiruvananthapuram: 11 accused in the Madhu murder case have surrendered in the court. Earlier, the High Court had cancelled the bail of the accused and upheld the action of the trial court.
After it became clear that the witnesses were influenced, the court cancelled the bail of the accused. Madhu’s sister responded that she was happy with the High Court verdict upholding the cancellation of the bail of the accused.
Meanwhile, the 46th witness Abdul Latif turned hostile. Abdul Latif’s initial statement was that he saw the accused taking Madhu and beating him. This statement was changed in the trial court. The Mannarkkad SC ST trial court will consider the plea for action against Sunil Kumar, the 29th witness who misled the court.
