New Delhi: Indian Premier League will again return to its previous form as how it was before the Covid, said Saurav Ganguly, the President of the BCCI. Ganguly clarified that in 2023, each team will participate in association with the home and away competition.

Since 2020, the IPL has been conducted only in venues that were shut down. During Covid times, IPL was held in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi respectively. In 2021, the competition was held in Delhi, Ahmadabad, Mumbai and Chennai.

After 2020, this is for the first time a complete IPL is being held and there is a plan to launch Women IPL by the beginning of the next year, said Ganguly. He also said that the women’s IPL will raise the standards of Indian Cricket. Apart from this, it is also informed that the Under-15 one day tournament will also be conducted.

The first Under-15 tournament will be held from 26th December to 12th January at Bangalore, Ranchi, Rajkot, Indore, Raipur and Pune.
