Thiruvananthapuram: Following the Popular Front hartal, Transport Minister Antony Raju said that KSRTC services will not be suspended. Maximum services will be provided with police protection. Responding to the incident of widespread stone pelting on buses, Antony Raju stated that he will ensure the people’s travel.
The minister said that strict action will be taken against those who pelted stones at the buses. The compensation for the buses will be collected from the accused, the Minister reiterated. The transport minister also assured that the bus service will be there if there are passengers.
At the same time, the Popular Front is creating widespread violence in the state. They protested by pelting stones at KSRTC buses, closing shops and harassing passengers. KSRTC drivers were also injured in the attack.
