New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has come forward with Operation Megha Chakra. CBI raided fifty six locations across the State and Union Territories. The investigation is in connection with the incidents that give social media publicity to products that encourage online child sexual abuse.
The CBIs decision was on the basis of the secret information received from Interpol. The raid was conducted by different teams. There were more than two hundred officials in each team. This is also a continuation of Operation Carbon that took place in 2021. The secret information received by the CBI about the CSAM users also led to the raid.
