India lost the toss and were bowled out for 169 runs in 45.4 overs. In reply, England finished with 153 runs in 43.3 overs. India won by 16 runs. India had won the first two matches of the series.

Charlotte Dean scored 47 runs and was the top scorer for the hosts. Amy Jones scored 28 runs and opener Emma Lamb scored 21 runs. Renuka Singh who took 4 wickets smashed the English batting line. Jhulan Goswami who played her farewell match took 2 wickets. Rajeshwari Gaekwad also has 2 wickets.
Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami brought an epic 20-year career to an end with the match. The 39-year-old played 12 Tests, 203 ODIs and 68 Twenty20 matches for India. Scored a total of 353 international wickets. 253 of these are from ODIs. Jhulan is the best wicket-taker in women’s cricket.
