New Delhi: 55 Sikhs reached Delhi from Afghanistan. Both of the nations had arranged necessary documents like visas to bring them to India. Sahni, the Rajyasabha MP had said that they have arrived in Delhi with the complete cooperation of both the nations.
The flight was arranged by the Amritsar Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee to bring the people including 3 infants, 38 elders and 17 children. Sahni also said that the last one who got stranded in Afghanistan would also be brought back to India without any failure. He added that the rehabilitation of Hindu and Sikh people from Afghanistan will also be arranged and they will be provided with residence, education, health insurance and monthly expenses too.
