Srinagar: Security forces killed a Pakistani terrorist in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam. Abu Hurarah, a Jaish-e-Muhammed terrorist, was killed. According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, the encounter is continuing at the place.
The encounter took place at Bathpora in Kulgam. The security forces arrived on the basis of information received that terrorists were hiding in the area. The terrorists opened fire on the security forces while conducting an inspection in the area. A soldier and two local residents were injured in the unexpected attack.
The injured were admitted to the hospital. It is reported that more terrorists are hiding in the area. A number of weapons including a gun and explosives were seized from Abu Hurara’s possession. This is being investigated in detail. Anti-national documents have also been seized.
