Lucknow: Pitbull and Rottweiler dogs have been banned in Kanpur city limits. Such dog attacks are increasing in the area. In this situation, Mayor Pramila Pandey said that the decision was taken considering the safety of the public. A pit bull had attacked a cow at Sarsaiya Ghat last night. Dogs were banned after this incident. Recently, a video of a Pitbull dog attacking a cow in Uttar Pradesh went viral on social media.
Many similar incidents were reported from different parts of the country. A few days ago, a pit bull brutally attacked a woman in Lucknow. The police have registered a case against the person who raised the dog in the incident. After this, a license was made mandatory for raising dogs. An 11-year-old boy was also injured in a pit bull attack in Ghaziabad. The child had 150 stitches on his face.
