India-South Africa First Twenty20 match today

Thiruvananthapuram: Karyavattom Greenfield Stadium is all set for the battle. The first Twenty20 match between India and South Africa will be played today at 7 PM. Many people from different parts of the country have come to the capital city to enjoy the match.

As part of the competition, the police have prepared large security arrangements. Traffic control has also been introduced. As part of this, around 1650 officers have been deployed in the capital. Zones have been divided into 109 sectors. Under the leadership of 19 DYSPs, 28 CIs and 182 SIs and 1650 police personnel have been deployed in and around the stadium for security.

Spectators can enter the stadium from 4.30 pm onwards. And they should carry the identity card along with the pass. Items such as plastic bottles, liquor bottles, sticks, flag poles, umbrellas, black flag, throwable items, crackers, cigarettes, etc are not allowed inside the stadium. Only mobile phones are allowed inside the stadium.
