Thiruvananthapuram: India won the T20 match, held at Karyavattom, against South Africa by eight wickets. India crossed the target score set by SA with the loss of 107 runs in 16.4 overs.
The half century scored together by KL Rahul and Surya Kumar Yadav led India to the victory. They sustained the match with 51 and 50 runs respectively.
Meanwhile Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli disappointed the fans.
The Indian pace team was remarkable in this match. The Indian bowlers trapped SA at 106 runs with 8 wickets in 20 overs.
It was Arshdeep Singh, who took 3 wickets Deepak Chahar and Harshal Patel who worked together to maintain the low score of South Africa. When Indian bowlers smashed the SA team, it was Keshav Maharaj, who took the highest score (41) from SA. Aiden Markram was the other player who crossed the two digit mark on the scoreboard.
