New Delhi: India has stepped in to the 5G services and Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the services. The inaugural function was held in association with the 6th Indian Mobile Congress held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The PM clarified that the nation will completely move to the 5G services within the next three years.
In the first level, the selected cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata will be provided with 5G services. The PM said that Kerala will get the 5G service by next year.
The chief of several Telecom Companies have attended the function. The Reliance Jio chief Akash Ambani, Airtel chief Gopal Vittal and Vodafone-Idea chief Akshaya Moondra were also there at the function. The Airtel and Reliance Jio have informed that they will bring in the facility by this year itself.
The 5G service that provides the best uninterrupted coverage and communication facilities to the users will be adopted in different stages. The 5G services will be 100 times faster than the 4G services. It helps watching videos without buffering and download contents faster.
