5G services will be provided across the nation by 2023; Indian Mobile Congress will soon become Global Congress, said Mukesh Ambani

New Delhi: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has said that the 5G services will be provided across India by December 2023. He said this while attending the inaugural function held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

He said that the aim is to bring 5G services to all villages by next year. He also opined that the 5G services will be utilised to present all technological facilities of the 21st century including the Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Robotics and Block chain.

He expressed his readiness to guide India towards the 5G era that can bring numerous changes to the nation. He clarified that the Indian Mobile Congress must be soon shifted to the Global Congress.

This day will be marked in Golden alphabets in the Telecom History of the nation and this is the best way to bring digital services to all people, said Aswini Vaishnav, the union Telecom Minister.

The PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated the 5G service in a programme that was held in association with the 6th Indian Mobile Congress held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The PM clarified that the nation will completely move to the 5G services within the next three years.

In the first level, the selected cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata will be provided with 5G services. The PM also said that Kerala will get the 5G service by next year.
