New Delhi: Sunil Mithal, the Chairman of Airtel has extended his gratitude towards the Digital India Initiative. He said if the PM does not take the initiative, India would have been suffered. Mithel expressed his regards for the developmental thoughts of the PM. He said this while talking in the inaugural function.
Today is an important day. A new era is ready to begin. This auspicious day is the 75th year of Indian freedom. The 5G service will open doors to new opportunities, said Mithel.
The PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated the 5G service in a programme that was held in association with the 6th Indian Mobile Congress held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The PM clarified that the nation will completely move to the 5G services within the next three years.
In the first level, the selected cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata will be provided with 5G services. The PM also said that Kerala will get the 5G service by next year.
