Chennai: Mani Ratnam film ‘ Ponniyin Selvan’ is successfully running in theatres. The film has earned 150 crore after two days of release. The movie is getting appreciation from all over the world.
The movie was released on last Friday and earned three crores in its release date itself. The movie collected Rs 24.5 crore on the second and it got 50 crore after two days from Tamilnadu alone.
Sri Gokulam movies has the distribution rights of the film which is screened in around 250 theatres in Kerala. Currently the first part of the epic has been released. As per reports, the second part of the film will be released in nine months.
