Lucknow: Yogi Government took strict decisions over the activists who conducted protests against CAA. It is decided to collect the lost money from the culprits. Police have given notice in this regard.
In the first level it has decided to collect Rs 57 lakh from 60 people. The Government will take away the properties of those who do not pay the amount.
An attempt took place 20 December, 2019 to spread revolt against the CAA. The protestors had destroyed the public properties and the police jeeps were set on fire. They even attacked the policemen.
Pankaj Tomar, the SHO of Nahtore Police station said that notices have been sent to 60 people seeking compensation with connection to this.
A state wide protest was held in UP as part of the protest.
