Thiruvananthapuram: The culprits who attempted to attack a home returning child have been arrested by the police. The incident took place at Vellumannadi near Venjaramoodu. Manilal from Iruloor, Raju from Madavoor and Sajeev were arrested over the incident.
They tried attacking the girl when she was returning home from the school. The culprits followed her in an auto rickshaw and stopped her when she reached a lonely place. She somehow escaped and ran to a nearby house.
She explained the incident to the people in that house. The culprits escaped but the police captured them later.
