Thiruvananthapuram: Age limit has been implemented in CPI. C. Divakaran was removed from the State Council since the upper age limit has been set to 75. C. Divakaran was excluded from the list of state committee members from Thiruvananthapuram district. It has been decided to elect 101 people as representatives in the state council. Controversy has arisen regarding the age limit. But when it was decided to strictly implement this, Divakaran was excluded.
At the same time, when the CPI state conference is about to conclude today, information is also coming out that Kanam Rajendran may be elected as the state secretary for the third time. The decision on whether there will be an election for the post of secretary will be made according to the members of the state council.
