Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir DGP Hemanth Kumar Lohiya has been found killed by slitting throat at his friend’s house. The police intensified the investigation on the case. Hemant Kumar’s house keeper went missing after the incident.
His dead body was found from the house situated in Udaywala. The primary finding is that it is a murder. Mukesh Singh, the Additional Director General of Police said that they will seek help from the locals and the culprit will be captured soon.
Hemanth Kumar and his family have been living in his friend’s house since their house is under construction.
Lohiya is a 1992 batch IPS officer. He was appointed as the DGP of Jammu Kashmir Jail in August.
