Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Vaishno Devi Temple at Katra. He is in Kashmir for a three day visit. He has been accompanied by the Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh. It is his first visit after being elected as the Home Minister.
As part of ensuring the security, the internet connection of some areas in Rajouri has been disconnected. After the temple visit, he will reach Rajouri to address the people. It is 1.5 kms away from the Vaishno Devi Temple.
Later, he will visit Raghunath Temple at Jammu. He will also analyse several developmental projects before going to the Kashmir Valley.
On 5th October he will meet the Army officials of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting will begin at 10 am and later he will address the public at Baramulla.
