Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the widows and other family members of the soldiers who were martyred for the country. Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha was also with him. Amit Shah informed this through Twitter.
The Home Minister arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on a three-day visit. He then participated in various functions. He also tweeted that the appointment letter for the job has been handed over to the families of the four martyred soldiers.
He also said that the nation honors the sacrifice of the Jammu and Kashmir Police who are at the forefront of the fight against terrorism. Amit Shah, who arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening, met with people from Gujjar Bakarwal, Rajput, Pahari and Jammu Sikh communities. On Tuesday morning, he visited the Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Katra. He then launched various development projects at a program held in Rajouri district.
