Mumbai: Massive drug hunt in Mumbai city. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized 50 kg of mephedrone. Ten kg of drugs were seized from Gujarat too. 6 people were arrested in connection to the incident.
The NCB team conducted the search at a godown located on SB road in southern Mumbai. 50 kg mephedrone were seized and arrested 2 people from here.
Initially, info regarding the sale of MD drugs in Gujarat was shared by the Naval Intelligence Unit of Jamnagar, Gujarat. This input was jointly developed by NCB and Naval Intelligence Unit and seized around 10.350 kg of MD drugs and 4 persons were arrested: SK Singh, DDG NCB

10 kg of Mephedrone were seized in a search held at Jamnagar in Gujarat on 3rd October. Four people were arrested over the incident including the former Air India Pilot Sohali Gaffer. It is indicated that both these incidents are interrelated.
