Liquor policy case; Flash raid by ED in 35 places

New Delhi: ED conducts flash raids at 35 places in Delhi liquor policy case. The inspection is in progress at various places in Delhi, Punjab and Hyderabad. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came out against the raid by ED.
So far more than 103 raids have been conducted in the liquor scam case. Last month, Samir Mahendru, managing director of the liquor manufacturing company Indospirit was arrested in the case. The liquor scam comes after the Lt Governor recommended a CBI probe into irregularities in the implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22.
11 excise officers were suspended. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Delhi government officials were accused. Later the Delhi government withdrew the liquor policy.
