Srinagar: An encounter took place again at Thongpo village in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. The security force killed a terrorist in the attack that has been started since Sunday midnight.
Last day two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists had been captured in an encounter with the Jammu and Kashmir police. One among the arrested was Ishfaq Majeed Dar, a native of Sadarkota Bala. He was assigned to recruit youngsters to terrorist organisations in Bandipore. He was also instructed to inform about the police check posts in Bandi pora in order to execute the terrorist attacks.
A case has been filed against him, under the Public Safety Act, over disturbing the peaceful atmosphere in the region.
