New Delhi: Child actor Rahul Koli (15), who played the central role in India’s official Oscar entry this year, Chhello Show, has passed away. He was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Rahul had a high fever on Sunday. Father Ramu also said that he had vomited blood three times. He added that Rahul believed that there would be a lot of change in his life. Rahul’s cremation will be held at Happa village, his native place near Jamnagar.
Chhello Show is releasing on October 14. The word Chhello Show means the last movie show. The film is based on the childhood memories of director Pan Nalin himself. Nalin tells through the film how he got attracted to the film. ‘Chhello Show’ depicts a nine-year-old boy named Samay watching movies and dreaming of movies under the influence of Fazal, a cinema projector technician. Chhello Show is competing for the best international film award.
