Patna: Madrasa authorities insulted the national flag during the Prophet’s Day rally in Bihar. Madrasa in Gausia, Siwan, distorted the tricolor flag and used it in the rally. The police registered a case in the incident.
On Saturday, the madrasa organized a rally and other celebrations as part of Nabi Day celebrations. Tricolor flag is usually hoisted in processions. But distorted flags appeared in the hands of madrasa students.
There was no Ashoka Chakra on the national flag. Instead, there was a symbol of swords and a religious text. Pictures of students holding the distorted flag were widely circulated on social media. The case was taken after this.
