Bangaluru: Flash raids have been conducted in several places in Karnataka. The raid was in the houses of the leaders of PFI, the banned terror group. Police have taken five people into custody following the raid.
Flash raid is on the basis of secret input about the anti-national activities held by the religious extremists. Crucial documents regarding the terrorist operations have been seized from the houses.
Popular Front’s offices were sealed after the ban. The Ministry of Home Affairs banned the terror group the Popular Front of India, on 28 September, after conducting nationwide raids on the PFI offices. MHA’s action was on the basis of Popular Front’s youth recruitment for anti-national activities as well as for conspiring several illegal operations.
