New Delhi: Young Indian shooter Rudraksh Patil qualified for the Paris Olympics by winning Gold medal in the Cairo World Championship. Patil won the gold medal in the 10 m air rifle. He is the second Indian player who won a gold medal in the same event.
Rudraksh defeated Italy’s Danilo Dennis Solosove with a score of 17-13. And he is now among the 6 people who won gold in the world championship. In the shooting event, four people can qualify from different categories.
So far, two players, including Pateel, have qualified to two events. This time, Bhowneesh Mentiratha is the first one who qualified for shooting. He won a gold medal at the Shotgun World Championship in Koasia.
