New Delhi: Strict action in Delhi against those who help terrorists. Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has dismissed five government employees for alleged links with various terrorist organizations. According to official sources, the employees were dismissed for having terrorist links and helping banned terrorist organizations to carry out attacks.
Tanveer Saleem Dar, one among the dismissed, had joined the battalion headquarters in July 2002 as ‘armoured’. He then helped to repair the terrorists’ weapons and supplied ammunition. He was later known as the terrorist commander of the banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Further investigation revealed that Tanveer was involved in the series of terrorist attacks in Srinagar and played a key role in the murder of MLC Javaid Shalla.
Baramulla Central Cooperative Bank Ltd Manager Afaq Ahmed Wani, Plantation Supervisor Iftikhar Andrabi , Irshad Ahmed Khan of Jalshakti Department and PHE Subdivision Assistant Lineman Abdul Momin Peer are the others who have been dismissed.
