Kozhikode: Huge drug hunt in various parts of Kerala. Drugs were seized in Kozhikode, Kannur and Kochi. Excise seized seven kilos of cannabis from Ashraf, Panayathamparambil in Kannur.
Excise stated that Ashraf is the one who delivers cannabis to sellers in Chalot and Mattanur areas.
A collection of drugs was also found in the apartment in Palazhi, Kozhikode. 30 grams of MDMA and 35 LST stamps were seized. The drugs were found during the investigation conducted by the police on the basis of secret information. The police clarified that the residents of the apartment are being interrogated by the police. One person was taken into custody in the incident.
Drugs were also found in Kochi. Excise caught a native of Assam who was selling heroin among migrant workers. 40 grams of heroin worth Rs 10 lakh was seized from him.
