Pathanamthitta: The evidence of the accused in the Elanthoor double human sacrifice will continue today. The plan is to bring the main accused Muhammad Shafi to various places in Kochi and Bhagwal Singh to Pathanamthitta to take evidence. Yesterday, he was taken to the house in Elanthoor where the murder took place and questioned for hours. The police conducted an eight-hour search at the house.
Police collected more than 40 pieces of evidence, including bloodstains and body parts suspected to belong to the murdered women. These will be sent for expert testing. Information about further harassment of women from the accused is not available. The police team stated that the investigation in this regard is in progress.
Except Laila, both the other accused ate human flesh. It is also revealed that it was cooked in a pressure cooker. The accused admitted this to the investigation team. Police also found evidence of human flesh of 10kg being kept inside the fridge of the house where the double human sacrifice took place. There is a blood stain inside the fridge.
