New Delhi: CBI has directed Manish Sisodia, the deputy Chief Minister of New Delhi, to appear for interrogation in the liquor policy scam case. Sisodia’s name was also there in the FIR registered by the CBI in the case. The CBI directed him to appear at the CBI headquarters at 11 am on Monday.
In the primary response, Sisodia said that he will be presented for the interrogation. Sisodia said that the CBI has inspected his home for 14 hours. They also conducted a detailed search on things including his bank locker.
The details of the search are yet to be revealed by the CBI. The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that there is a plan to arrest.
Manish Sisodia’s close friend and Aam Aadmi Party communications chief, Vijay Nair was arrested last month by the CBI in connection with the liquor scam case. BJP is still in its protest against the liquor policy scam case.
