Patna: Religious extremists tried for a riot in the name of hijab in Bihar. A group of religious extremists attacked a teacher who asked a student to remove her hijab before entering the examination hall. The incident took place yesterday in Muzaffarpur.
The incident happened in MDDM Women’s College. The intermediate exam was held yesterday. The rule is that students wearing hijab are not allowed to enter the examination hall. Following this, it was clarified to the student who came for the exam that she will be allowed to enter the hall only after taking off her hijab. But the student said that she did not agree to this. This led to an argument between the student and the teacher. After this, other teachers intervened. Then the student was allowed to write the exam wearing a hijab. But after the exam, the girl returned with some youths and assaulted the teacher.
