Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan warns that he will be taken against people who abuse him. The CM and the assembly have all right to give suggestions to the governor. But it does not given permission to abuse him by making fake and abusive statements. Governor made his statements through his twitter page.
On his Twitter page he wrote,
“Hon’ble Governor Shri Arif Mohammed Khan said: “The CM and Council of Ministers have every right to advise Governor. But statements of individual ministers that lower the dignity of the office of the Governor, can invite action including withdrawal of pleasure”: PRO, Kerala Raj Bhavan.
Last day, Governor Arif Muhammad Khan dismissed 15 senate members from the Kerala University who have not participated in the meeting called to select the representative of the search committee to appoint the vice chancellor. The senate meeting had to adjourn without a quorum due to their absence. Minister Bindu had criticised this and later a tweet from Raj Bhavan come out with a warning to the ministers.
