Hyderabad: The cyclonic circulation over south Andaman Sea and neighbourhood now lies over north Andaman Sea and neighbourhood and extends upto 3.1 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.
In a special weather bulletin here, it said under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Southeast and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a ‘depression’ by the morning of October 22 over Central Bay of Bengal.
It is very likely to intensify further into a ‘Cyclonic Storm’ over Westcentral Bay of Bengal subsequently.
Mainly low level Easterlies prevail over Telangana, the bulletin added.
