New Delhi: The 4th Vande Bharat Express started service on the 4th day of launch. The train service runs from Delhi to Amb Andaura. It started the service at 5.50 am and reached Una at 10.32, after 4.46 hours, at Una. The officials clarified that the train has service on all days in a week except Friday.
The maximum speed of the train is 130 km/hr. The train, also known as Train 18, has semi-high speed and electric multiple units in it. It has 16 coaches with executive class and chair core coaches. Compared with all other Vande Bharat trains, the latest one is light in weight and faster.
They can attain a speed of 100 km/hr within 52 seconds. This will help to make the journey more comfortable and efficient. PM Narendra Modi had launched the train on October 13. The Central Government always includes novel features in all their new initiatives. The integral coach factory is planning to launch 275 Bharat trains by August 2023.
