If Rahul had contested, Shashi Tharoor wouldn’t have got even 100 votes: K Muraleedharan slams Shashi Tharoor

Thiruvananthapuram: K Muraleedharan talked contemptuously about Shashi Tharoor over his failure in the Congress Presidential election held recently. Muraleedharan said that Shashi Tharoor would not even get 100 votes if Rahul Gandhi contested the election. No one will become eligible for reservation just because they contested in the AICC election, Muraleedharan clarified.

Tharoor can be a contestant in the working committee. But the currently elected president is a healthy person. He had walked too much in Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yathra’. So Kharge does not need support from others and there is no need of a working president in the current situation. Rahul Gandhi is the most important leader of the Congress Party. No action will be taken from the side of the party by foiling Gandhi family, said K Muraleedharan.

Meanwhile, Muraleedharan alleged that Shashi Tharoor did not take any action to discourage the social media attack that took place against Kharge. The CPM workers should extend their affection in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections too, added Muraleedharan.
