In 2019 he celebrated Deepavali with soldiers in Rajouri, in Jaisalmer in the year 2020 and his first celebration with soldiers was in 2014 in Siachen.
As all people in the country celebrate Deepavali with members of their family at their own homes, the soldiers spend day and night at borders, protecting the nation. Prime Minister’s presence, his encouraging words with all enthusiasm and spirit, becomes a great reverence.
