Itanagar: Massive fire occurred at Naharlagun Daily Market in Arunachal Pradesh. As per reports, at least 700 shops were destroyed in the firing.
The firing took place at 4 o’ clock this morning. Police informed that there are no injuries reported in the incident. This is the oldest market in the state situated just 14 kms away from Itanagar, the capital city.
The force said that hence many of the shops are built by bamboo and other wood materials the fire got spread uncontrollably. The LPG cylinders were also accelerated the spread of fire. The hours-long attempt of the fire force department has finally made the fire under control.
