Coimbatore: More evidences has come out that proves Jamesha Mubin (25), who died in a car explosion held in front of Kottamed Sangameshwar temple, was a suicide bomber.
“Forgive my mistakes when you hear my death news, forget my faults, attend my funeral function and pray for me” he wrote in the status. Usually, such messages are being send by the homicide bombers of IS before the death. But the investigation team has not published the status yet.
Police found the details of the temples in Coimbatore, Commissioner office and collectorate from Jamesha Mubin’s house. The presence of highly inflammable chemical solutions was also found from his body. Parts of his body have been sent for expert medical examination.
It is already confirmed that Mubin’s friends had IS connections. His friend Firoz Ismail was arrested and sent back from Dubai in 2019 in connection to his relation with IS.
His friends got arrested by the police last night. Firoz Ismail, Nawaz Ismail, Muhammad Dhalha, Muhammad Riaz and Muhammad Azaruddin were arrested. The police had also received the CCTV footage of the attackers loading explosives inside the vehicle.
